Kusadasi, one of Turkey's principle holiday resorts, is situated on the west coast of Turkey - south of Izmir. It is reputed to be one of the most attractive cities in the Aegean and it is ideally located close to the important historical sites of the area. The city offers numerous powdery sandy beaches with warm and clear waters. There is an attractive palm-lined boulevard, with busy cafes and restaurants, serving a variety of fresh seafood and Aegean specialties. Nighlife is generally lively.
