Nestled on the south west coast of Turkey lies Kalkan, an idyllic fishing village with a marina of yachts, gulets and fishing boats. The pebbled beach is a small strip towards the end of the bay. Kalkan really is a charming unspoilt village with white villas covered in bougainvillaea, winding cobbled streets, roof terrace bars and harbourside restaurants. The village offers a delightful blend of eating, drinking and shopping and is completely pedestrianised at night as the cafes fill with laughter and spill onto the streets creating a wonderfully warm atmosphere.
