At the foot of the Lukmanier Pass, 1,235m above sea level, lies the cosy village of Disentis. Dominated by the ‘Monastery Disentis’ (8th century) and with still fewer than 3,000 inhabitants this charming village gives you a warm and welcoming feeling. In Disentis, skiers have access to some 60km of marked downhill runs (most for beginners and intermediates) at altitudes between 1,150m and 2,920m with the longest run being 15km long. There are also opportunities for snowboarding, ski touring and deep snow skiing. Beginner slopes are near the cable car station in the village (Sax area). For the active non-skier there are plenty of prepared winter walks, 19 miles of cross country runs and golfing on snow, as well as a local sports centre boasting ice rink, curling and indoor tennis. Transfer time is approximately 3 hours.

Special: During January the hotel offers 'Baby Weeks' for children of 4 months to 3 years. A professional child minder looks after the children Mon-Fri from 10am to 4pm. Cost is only £ 93 per baby/toddler without meals. Please advise at time of booking if you require this service. Limited availability!
