Nestling in a glorious, sunny Rhone Valley bowl, Verbier straddles the Swiss / French border and enjoys some extraordinary mountain views. The ski areas falls into Four Valleys, with Verbier’s pistes being linked to Thyon, Veysonnaz and Nendaz. This gives a stunning total ski region of 410km of piste served by 94 lifts. Consequently, skiers enjoy an enormous range and variety of pistes, along with some world-class off-piste skiing. Many believe that no other resort can match Verbier for challenging glaciers, couloirs and deep powder. There are also some superb runs for adventurous intermediates. Skiers of all grades have the benefit of using a high-tech, hands-free computerised lift ticket. All in all, it is no surprise that loyal skiers return year after year to this winter sport’s paradise.
