Standing 186 meters high, this imposing hotel of 2 buildings is situated in the La Cala area of Benidorm just after Poniente beach, close to the sea. With the most incredible view of the bay from the view point at the very top of the hotel and only a short distance from the Terra Mitica, this has to be one of the most original hotels in Costa Blanca with 70% of rooms having a sea view.. Two buffet-style restaurants featuring show cooking. You will enjoy two hotel bars and cafeterias as well as 24hr room service. During high season the hotel operates a swimming pool bar which has an open terrace to take a drink on. There is also the disco night pub “Cotton Bali Club”, which is open every weekend until late.

Sport and Leisure

Gran Hotel Bali offers an environment of leisure and enjoyment for all tastes and ages. In the gardens you can find the free form Swimming pool, the children’s pool, and another pool for adults and children and open air Jacuzzi, various sun terraces and pool side bars. Amusement arcade, mini infants play ground, games room and a Cyber room, Night and day-time entertainment programme for both adults and children (only during high season).

Extra Information

Located 60 km from Alicante airport, 143 km from Murcia airport and 152 km from Valencia airport. Benidorm has excellent road links to the autonomous regions of Valencia and the rest of Spain via the N-332 and the A-7 Motorway at exits 65 and 65A. There are daily bus services to Madrid, Barcelona and Alicante. There is also viewpoint or rooftop situated on the top of the hotel the cost for this is Euro 1.00

Driving Directions

From Alicante, take the Autovia Alicante-Murcia and leave at the airport junction; alternatively, take the national road N-340 to the airport. From Benidorm, take the Autopista A-7.

Car Parking

Parking is available at the airport in two car parks with a total capacity of 1,500 spaces. One car park is located opposite the terminal building and the other next to it; long- and short-term parking rates are available.

Car Hire

Avis, Atesa, Auriga, Centauro, Europcar, Europa Car, Hertz, Sol-Mar and Record Rent a Car are all represented in Arrivals, next to baggage reclaim.

Public Transport

Road: Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport (journey time to Alicante: 15-20 minutes). The taxi rank is situated in front of the Arrivals hall. Bus: Scheduled buses run every hour to/from Alicante central bus station. Other services run to Benidorm and Murcia. All buses depart from opposite the Arrivals hall.

Information and Help Desks

An Aena information desk (tel: (0)96 691 9100) is located at the check-in area; another one, in the Departures area, operates when the airport is busy. The Valencia Tourism Agency has an information desk on the lower floor (tel: (0)96 691 9367).

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: Facilities include bureaux de change, ATMs and a post office. Eating and drinking: There are bars and restaurants, a fast-food outlet, an ice cream parlour and a cafeteria. Eight cafés and four restaurants are located in the Costa Blanca Plaza, the airport shopping and entertainment centre. Shopping: Shops include newsagents, tobacconists, gift and jewellery shops, a music store, cake shop, sports and shoe shops, CD and video store, and three duty-free shops. Luggage: There are lost property offices on the ground floor. There is no left-luggage facility at the airport. Other facilities: There is a 24-hour first aid service and a pharmacy.

Conference and Business Facilities

Conference and business facilities are not generally available at the airport although there is a Ifach VIP Lounge on Departures level 1, offering phone, fax, photocopying and Internet access for business class passengers. Holiday Inn Alicante-Playa de San Juan (tel: (0)96 515 6185), which is 5km (3 miles) from Alicante, can provide conference and business facilities for up to 150 people.

Disabled Facilities

There is a designated area outside the terminal building for dropping off disabled passengers. There are also designated parking spaces for disabled passengers in the airport car park opposite the terminal building. The airport has lifts, ramps and disabled toilets; wheelchairs are available on request; passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.

Sidi San Juan Hotel (tel: (0)96 516 1300) is a five-star hotel 15km (9 miles) from the airport.
