The room was great! Very clean and the receptionist were helpful - especially when i had to complain about next door making too much noise in the early AM! Very comfy beds and great bathroom - hairdryer, strong shower pressure and nice big towels! Was a little far from the centre of town, but thanks to cheap metro tickets and a station not too far away, it was bearable! It allowed for a quiet night's sleep at least! Free internet in reception was a big bonus!

Nice, good value, clean hotel with friendly staff. A gentle fifteen-minute stroll into the tourist heart of Barcelona. Two minor problems were 1) we booked a double room but got a room with 2 single beds pushed together 2) the room smelt strangely of cheese, though I think this was from recent replastering!

Single room was just big enough for the bed, a chair and the stand for the TV but had all the necessities and was very clean and modern. Bathroom was large by comparison, well appointed and scrupulously clean. TV channels were limited. Room was impeccably maintained.The basically continental breakfast was adequate - a slice above some, but less than what some others are offering now. Reception staff ranged from very friendly and helpful to pretty much indifferent.The biggest drawback of this hotel is the location in a largely residential neighborhood. Restaurant selection nearby is limited, and there is no restaurant in the hotel. Hotel is easily and inexpensively accessible by bus and/or train from the airport (once you know how). The main train station is a 10-12 minute walk down the hill, and a local bus passes right by the front door. The nearest underground stop is at the train station. The main shopping corridor is a 6-8 minute walk up the hill.
