The Velada Burgos is set in a 17th century house which was owned by the Counts of Berberana and has been always well-known by Burgos people due to its greatness, strength, façade and Rodríguez Salamancas' coat of arms which shows antiquity and nobility. History has been respectfully combined with today's comforts. It is located in the historical centre of Burgos, close to the Cathedral, the Plaza Mayor and surrounded by lively pedestrian precincts.

The past greatness of this building can been seen in the stone walls which have been allowed to feature strongly throughout the hotel, creating an alomost castle-like atmosphere.
