Accommodation description

Guests receive a truly personal service as the hotel has just 64 rooms, which allows for individual treatment. The hotel offers various relaxing services in a pleasant ambience. The large pool area is an invitation to sunbathe and the beautiful gardens are ideal for a romantic walk. The spa has a covered, heated pool and offers various wellness options such as Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Guests can also enjoy the gym, hotel lounge with Wi-Fi service, squash court, TV room and a magnificent restaurant with fine cuisine.

Rooms are furnished and decorated to the highest standard. The balconies and terraces have splendid views over the pool and garden area and the ocean. The double rooms feature modern decor and first class furniture, with either two single beds (1.05 x 2 m) or a king-sized bed (1.5 x 2 m)*. The bathroom is fully fitted (including hairdryer) and all rooms have a balcony or terrace on which to enjoy the sun and beautiful views over the pool and garden area, the ocean and beach.

All inclusive food & drinks

The All-Inclusive programme consists of breakfast (08.00-10.30), lunch (13.00-15.00) and dinner (18.00-20.30), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Mineral water, soft drinks, beer and wine are offered during meals. Children are taken care of well, enjoying ice cream and drinks all day round. Snacks such as hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and potatoes are available at the snack bar between 10.30 & 23.30. Coffee & teatime with cakes is from 16.00-17.00. Unlimited selection of locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks and water is available from 10.30-23.30 at the Salon bar (18.00-23.30), the pool bar Loma (10.30-23.30) and at the Cero pool bar (10.30-18.00).

Driving Directions

The airport is clearly signposted. From the capital, Arrecife, take the Autovia Arrecife-Yaiza (LZ-2) and follow signs for the airport.

Car Parking

There are 1,120 car parking spaces available at the airport; the first 30 minutes are free, after which the charge is calculated on an hourly basis.

Car Hire

Autos Reisen, Avis, Betacar, Cabrera Medina, Cicar, Felycar, Hertz and Payless are represented in the Arrivals hall. When the new terminal is completed, car hire companies will also be located in the baggage reclaim area and in the Arrivals hall.

Public Transport

Road: Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport and depart from taxi ranks next to Arrivals. Bus: Buses operate to/from Arrecife-Playa Honda bus station on bus no.4. The bus station is situated next to Arrivals.

Information and Help Desks

There is an airport information desk (tel: 928 846 001) on the Departures floor. Tourist information is provided by the Lanzarote Island Council office in the Arrivals hall (tel: 928 846 073). Information desks will also be available in the new terminal on the public concourse.

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: There are several ATMs located throughout the airport, and a bureau de change at the Travel 2000 office in Departures, on the second floor. Eating and drinking: Facilities include cafés, bars, restaurants, an ice cream parlour and fast-food outlets, many of which are located in Departures, after security. There is also a cafeteria in the Arrivals hall. Shopping: Shops are mostly located in Departures, after security. The new terminal, once completed, will also have extensive shopping facilities, both before and after security. Luggage: There are no left-luggage facilities at the airport. Lost property facilities are located on the Departures floor (tel: 928 846 001). Other facilities: There is a pharmacy on the public concourse, and first aid on the Arrivals level.

Conference and Business Facilities

A Guacimeta VIP Lounge (tel: 928 846 345) is equipped with business facilities, including telephones and Internet access. Fax and photocopying facilities are available at the lottery outlet, on the main concourse.

Disabled Facilities

Disabled facilities include ramps, a lift, accessible doors and toilets; there are also designated areas outside Departures and Arrivals where disabled passengers can be dropped-off or picked-up. Airlines can provide travellers with wheelchairs; passengers should request this service when booking their ticket. Designated car parking spaces are provided.

The Gran Meliá Salinas (tel: 928 590 040) and the Occidental Teguise Playa (tel: 928 590 654) are 15-20 minutes from the airport on the Costa Teguise. There are several other hotels nearby, including the Hotel Lancelot (tel: 928 805 099) in Arrecife and the Hotel Fariones (tel: 928 510 175) in Puerto del Carmen.
