The Gran Canarian resort of Bahia Feliz is situated up the coast from the busier Playa Del Ingles. The town, the name of which means 'Fortune Bay', retains an old fashioned atmosphere, particularly in the pretty town square, where you will find a good selection of pavement cafes and restaurants. The beach is unsuitable for young children as it shelves steeply into the sea but the stiff breezes make it a good choice for windsurfers.
