Venue: Amaze'n Laberintos When: Daily
Fancy getting lost in one of Europe's biggest mazes? Playa de Muro's giant wooden labyrinth confuses even those with a natural sense of direction. Strategy, skill and speed come into play as visitors search for four hidden checkpoints where they can stamp their entry ticket. With baffling puzzles, riddles and memory games, the maze's twists and turns encourage lateral thinking and teamwork.
Beneath the pines on Playa de Muro's beach, the huge labyrinth stretches over 1356 metres and features four raised platforms where runners can get their bearings. Although it may seem bewildering, there is some method in the maze's madness and the logic lies in finding your way to the tucked-away checkpoints from the central platform.
Home to magicians and clowns, witches and fairies, water dragons and monsters, it is impossible to know who is lurking around the corner here. Memory buffs must remember the pictures they see inside the maze, while those that think they can complete it in record time should say they want to run for a prize before entering. A word of warning, crawling under the wooden boards is not allowed - dirty knees are a definite giveaway!
