This lovely hotel is located in Torrenova, facing the seafront. It is situated 50m from the beach, 9km from Palma City, 22km from the airport and 200m to the centre of Palmanova.

The hotel offers a number of facilities including: bar, cafeteria, dining room, games room, TV lounge, bar with panoramic view, air-conditioned buffet restaurant, gardens, direct access to the sea, adults swimming-pool, separate children’s pool and playground. Pool bar available in high season. Free use of parent’s room; where you can find a washing machine, microwave oven, ironing facilities and a table to change babies.

Food & Beverage The AI programme consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals local red or white wine, sangria, mineral water and fruit juices are offered. Paella for lunch is on offer once a week as well as various local dishes for dinner at the main restaurant. Soft drinks for children are available at the pool bars. Unlimited locally produced alcoholic and soft drinks are served from 10:00-24:00 at the main bar. Sparkling wine and cake for anniversaries & birthdays are also available.

Sports & Leisure All these facilities are available either within the hotel complex or locally with charge: Table tennis, billiards, tennis courts, golf course, windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving, water skiing-(seasonal), bowling, pedal boats, mini golf, bike hire and squash courts. Full day & night entertainment programme for adults and children with games, sports, competitions, dancing and professional shows (till approx. 23:00). A playground and high chairs are available for young children. Cots are provided free of charge.

Driving Directions

To get to the airport from Palma, take the autovia (main road) in the direction of Santanyí (Santañí) and turn off before the airport.

Car Parking

There is a covered car park close to the terminal for long- and short-term parking. The car park has a capacity for 5,700 vehicles on six floors. The ground floor is used by car hire companies; and long-term parking is on the sixth floor. All floors are fitted with disabled parking spaces, situated next to lifts and escalators. The fourth floor has passenger travelators that connect the car park to the terminal building Departures area.

Car Hire

Companies include Avis, Betacar-Europcar, Centauro, Europa, Hasso, Hertz, Record and Tui Cars-Ultramar Express. Desks and offices are located at Arrivals in the terminal building and on the ground floor of the airport car park.

Public Transport

Road: Taxi: Taxis leave from outside Door D on the Arrivals floor. Taxi companies serving the city centre (journey time: 15 minutes) include Fono Taxi, Radio Taxi and Taxi Palma. Bus: Bus no.1 runs to Paseo Mallorca in central Palma de Mallorca (journey time: 30 minutes) and Porto Pí. There is a bus stop in front of the multi-storey car park, outside Door D of the Arrivals floor, and another one outside the check-in floor, opposite the airport access road.

Information and Help Desks

Information desks (tel: 971 789 099) can be found in Arrivals, Departures and check-in. Customer service personnel, known as the ‘blue jackets’, are on hand to assist passengers on the second floor. There is a tourist information desk on the ground floor of the terminal (tel: 971 789 556).

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: The terminal has a full service bank on the Departures fourth floor and several ATMs. There are also post boxes, a post office and telephones. Eating and drinking: There are many bars and restaurants at the airport, including a 24-hour bar and a 24-hour cafeteria. Shopping: Shops include duty-free, a tobacconists, toy shop, leather goods shop, shoe shops, a jewellers, opticians, florists, sweet shops, gift shops and a clothing accessories shop. Luggage: There is no left-luggage facility at the airport. A lost property service is situated on the ground floor (tel: (0)971 789 456). Other facilities: There are 24-hour first aid services and a pharmacy, as well as numerous travel agents and a children’s room.

Conference and Business Facilities

There are three VIP lounges (tel: 971 789 331) at the airport, the Randa and l’Ofre lounges, situated in the Departures area, and the Formentor lounge, situated on the D concourse. These provide free newspapers, a television, telephone and self-service bar. The airport can also provide conference/meeting rooms, telephone, fax machines, computers and data lines, and catering; there are also board rooms for hire in the Randa VIP lounge.

Disabled Facilities

There are lifts and ramps in the terminal where necessary. Wheelchair-accessible toilets and disabled parking spaces are also available.

There are no hotels in the airport grounds, but hotel reservations can be made at the airport (tel: 971 789 322). Hotels in Palma include the Melia Victoria (tel: 971 732 542), Palas Atenea Sol (tel: 971 281 400) and Saratoga (tel: 971 727 240); hotels in Playa de Palma include the Garonda (tel: 971 262 200) and Playa Park (tel: 971 261 950). The Arabella Sheraton Golf Hotel (tel: 971 787 100) is located on the Son Vida golf course, 15km (10 miles) from the airport.
