The Picasso Foundation in Málaga includes the house where the artist was born and spent the first years of his life and is also home to a wide range of his works in a variety of media, from ceramics and engravings to illustrated books.
Highlights include natural porcelain pieces such as Centaur, Fish and Bull's Head. The illustrated books section displays items donated by the artist's daughter-in-law, Christine Picasso, such as unique illustrated versions of Dos Contes by Ramón Reventos, Vingt Poèmes by Góngora and Cármen by Prosper Mérimé.
The paintings room features Dreams and Lies of Franco, a satirical aquatint designed for the International Paris Exhibition to raise funds for the Republican cause during the Spanish Civil War.
