• Al Fresco: In the evenings, you can enjoy a pre-dinner drink on our terrace and choose whether you would prefer to experience our excellent food in a convivial atmosphere around our large table, or sit separately at your own table for a more secluded dining experience. All dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients bought daily from local farms and shops. Home cooking is the order of the day with unpretentious dishes, ample portions and all inclusive prices that cannot be beaten anywhere in local restaurants. We offer set meals on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (Spanish Night), which are taken in the "Dinner Party" format with all inclusive prices for pre-dinner drinks, tapas, starter, main course, desert, still water and coffee/tea. Tuesdays and Thursdays we offer a selection of meals and on Saturdays we offer Grill Menu. Restaurant is closed on Sundays.

• Cortijo Bar: A cosy area with its original rustic feel and wooden-beamed ceilings, together with a wood-burner that heats the bar and lounge area during the winter times, providing an excellent atmosphere to enjoy a drink in peace and tranquillity.

Location

• Nearest airport: Malaga
• Nearest train station: Alora - 15 minutes drive
• Nearest other: Marbella (1hr), Antequera (40 min), Granada/Alhambra (1.5 hrs), Seville (2 hrs), Cordoba (2hrs)
• Directions: From Malaga airport take the N340 towards Malaga. Join the N340 and take the 2nd exit for Antequera/Motril (A45/A7). Join the motorway (A7) and take the 2nd exit signposted A357 Campanillas/Cartama/Universidad/Malaga but take care as you should only follow the signs to Cartama/Universidad/A357. Continue on this motorway until it becomes an ordinary road and at KM41 take the exit fro Alora (A343). At the T-junction turn right towards Alora/Pizarra and after 300 meters take the left turning for Alora. Continue on this road for 9 KM keeping Alora and the castle on your left (Do not turn towards Alora town centre). At the T-Junction turn left and follow the signs for Antequera (you are on A343 now). Continue on this road until KM 36 sign and then slow down going over a bridge (Armco on both sides) and take the first right turning into the Cortijo Valverde olive groves. After 200 meters take the drive on your left for the Cortijo and continue up the hill taking the 2nd exit into our car park.
