Once the official royal residence, the Neoclassic Royal Palace is today home to Romania's National Museum of Art.

Works on display include those by Romanian and foreign artists such as Constantin Brancusi, Theodor Aman, Nicolae Grigorescu, Stefan Luchian, Rembrandt, Rubens, El Greco, Messina, Titian, Tintoretto, Velasquez and others.
