Car Parking

Short-stay, long-stay and business parking are all available, operated by NCP (tel: (0)870 606 7050; website: www.ncp.co.uk). The short-stay car parks are all within walking distance of the terminals, and there are regular transfer coaches to the terminal from the long-stay car park. Long-stay parking with discounts can be pre-booked through BAA Advance (tel: (0)870 000 1000) or online via the airport’s website.

Alamo, Avis, Europcar, Hertz and National have desks next to Domestic Arrivals .

Public Transport

Rail: The Gilmour Street railway station in Paisley is 3km (2 miles) from the airport and is only a few minutes away by taxi or local bus. Trains run to Glasgow Central rail station. Transfers to either Queen Street station or Buchanan bus station are available on bus no.398. Bus: Bus no.905 runs to central Glasgow, stopping at Glasgow Central station, Queen Street station and Buchanan bus station. Buses are also available to other destinations. The airport information desk is on the first floor, next to the Domestic Arrivals/Departures area. There are computer information kiosks on the ground floor and a Greater Glasgow and Clyde Valley Tourist Board (tel: (0)141 848 4400 or 4758) in International Arrivals, providing tourist and accommodation information.

Money and communications: The airport has bureaux de change, ATMs, a post office and telephones equipped with fax and e-mail facilities. Eating and drinking: Restaurants, cafés and bars are concentrated on the first floor. Shopping: Shopping includes duty-free. Disabled Facilities

Facilities include wheelchair-accessible toilets, ramps, lifts and reserved seating, as well as induction loops, a TDD telephone and a Minicom information line (tel: (0)141 848 4848). Driving Directions

The airport can be accessed from Zwirki í Wigury Avenue, which leads out of central Warsaw.

Car Parking

Three airport car parks are available: the multi-storey short-term car park has space for 1,500 cars and is located next to the terminal building; the short-term open-air car park has space for 300 cars, whilst the long-term patrolled car park has space for 820 cars. Both of these are located east of the multi-storey short-term car park.

Car Hire

Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and National are located in the Arrivals hall.

Public Transport

Road: Taxi: The taxi stand is located in front of the Arrivals hall. Bus: The Intercity Polski Express bus company provides direct regular bus connections to 30 towns in Poland; tickets can be purchased from the driver. Bus stops are located immediately in front of the Arrivals hall between the terminal building and the multi-storey car park. Buses nos.175 and 188 serve Warsaw, including the train station, the Old Town and the city centre (journey time: 30 minutes).

The combined Airport, LOT Polish Airlines and Customs Information Point is located in the centre of the Departures hall. Tourist information is available in the Arrivals hall daily. There are three executive lounges in the transit area on the Departures level (tel: (0)22 650 2768); passengers wishing to use the lounges should inform their travel agents or airline when booking their flight.

Disabled Facilities

The International Terminal has lifts and adapted toilets. Wheelchairs are available on request from a handling agent. Trained first aiders are also on hand to assist passengers unable to access the upper mezzanine level.

Airport Hotels

The Falcon Transit Hotel (tel: (0)22 650 4891), located on the Departures level in the transit area, is open 24 hours a day and has eight rooms. A new hotel, the five-star Courtyard by Marriott (tel: (0)22 650 0100), is situated close to the passenger terminal. Travellers can make hotel reservations at travel and tourist agencies located in the Arrivals and Departures halls and through the tourist information and hotel reservation service (tel: (0)22 650 9431). An airport shuttle bus service operates to/from some hotels on request. The Gromada Hotel (tel: (0)22 609 9600) is located less than 1km (0.6 miles) from the airport and the Novotel Hotel (tel: (0)22 846 4051) is located 2km (1.2 miles) north of the airport. Both of these are on the Zwirki í Wigury Avenue which leads to central Warsaw.
