Set among picturesque mountains and Norwegian wooded hills, Lillehammer is famed for holding the 1994 Winter Olympics. It offers a family friendly atmosphere and some of Norway's best nightlife with a wide range of pubs and clubs. Excellent apres ski is available for those with energy left at the end of the day, and non skiing activities include bobsleighing on the Olympic Bob and Luge track, torch-lit sleigh rides and tobogganing.

With a total of 12km of pistes and excellent snow conditions, a good day's skiing is sure to be had by all. Beginners and intermediates are extremely well catered for, and the more advanced skier can try their hand at the runs used in the 1994 Winter Olympics. Snowboarders are not forgotten as they have a dedicated snowpark offering jumps and halfpipes, specifically designed for 'taking air'.
