The sailing schedule allows for plenty of time in Amsterdam, time to really get a feel for this wonderful city. Take the opportunity to explore the canals and tree lined streets - make sure that you stop for a drink at a canal side cafe and watch the world go by. 
When you arrive in Holland, you are escorted onto waiting coaches for the short transfer into the city centre, where you can either stay on the coach for a sightseeing tour of this captivating city, or explore Amsterdam for yourselves.

Return coach transfers are included. Transfer from Ijmuiden to Amsterdam’s city centre takes about 30 minutes. You can explore Anne Frank’s House, Van Gogh Museum, or do some shopping.

Accommodation description

The Newcastle to Amsterdam (IJmuiden) route connects the northeast of England to Holland. This route is served by either of the ships. The m.s. King of Scandinavia can travel at 21 knots and can accommodate up to 1534 passengers, and the m.s. Princess of Norway can travel at 18.5 knots and accommodates up to 1364 passengers.
