• Onice Lounge & Restaurant: Onice Lounge & Restaurant of Villa La Vedetta Hotel in Florence was opened only in 2003, yet it received a prestigious Michelin star which followed an insert in the celebrated guide 'Espresso'. Sophisticated cookery, surprising matching of flavours and tastes, masterly skills in preparation: all this elements have allowed the achievement of the highest award for a restaurant. Furthermore, the last goal of the year 2006 is the new membership of Villa La Vedetta, with the Onice Restaurant support, in the prestigious Relais & Chateaux brand as a warrant of luxury, high class and superb cuisine. Two large luminous glass arched doors separate and invite Guests from the garden with the large swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The dining area of the Restaurant and Lounge Bar Onice is under a vaulted ceiling and furnished with satin covered chairs and sofas surrounded by crystal and crocodile tables, with a sophisticated grey, ivory and cream tone with touches of cherry red. In summertime the dehors is set beyond the arches of the entrance, with tables and chairs, allowing Guests to taste the delicious dishes of Onice or simply sip a drink enjoying the stunning view onto the park, the poolside and the art wonders of Florence. A long rectangular honey onyx counter top creates an ideal space for encounters and an area for Clients to socialize. The transparent shelves accentuate the bottles and crystal glassware on display.
