The Idropark Fila, nicknamed "Milan's beach" by locals, is a water park and sporting venue close to Milan's Linate airport.
The water basin was originally built in 1928 as a landing area for seaplanes, but as early as the 1930s its purpose shifted to accommodate recreational activities. Since then, the park has hosted sporting events and cultural shows throughout the year, including theatre and music performances and boating competitions.
There's plenty of space for family fun, including clean swimming waters, jogging trails, climbing walls, mountain biking and inline skating areas.
