You can see evidence of the palazzo's history both inside and out, starting from the medieval loggia on the façade overlooking the Piazza Duomo, on to the eighteenth century main building front with its impressive stucco decorations - through to the high, arched stuccoed and decorated ceilings of the rooms which bear no resemblance to your average hotel paint job. All this is combined with today's ultra modern design splashed here and there with period pieces.
