The Galaxy has been part of the the Celebrity Cruise fleet since 1996. On board facilities range from acupuncture to golf instruction. The ship's decks play host to dining facilities, hotel-style staterooms, swimming pools, and a wide range of activities. At 866 feet, the ship comfortably transports 1,820 guests. The state-of-the-art AquaSpa offers full-service spa treatments in opulent quarters with intricate Ottoman and Japanese designs. Guests should never be bored as there's a fitness center, sauna, movie theater, shopping gallery, enrichment courses and lectures, cyber arcade and games, and card room to spend time in. On deck, guests will find three swimming pools (one covered, two open), a children's pool, hot tubs, jogging track, darts, shuffleboard, table tennis, basketball, golf, and volleyball. Celebrity also offers a top-rated supervised program on several of its cruises.
Passengers can enjoy refreshments throughout Galaxy's lounges, dining halls, and poolside terraces, or in the comfort of their own staterooms. A wide array of culinary offerings are prepared, including Pacific Northwest specialties, "Lean and Light" dishes, and children's menus. Whether toasting the evening at the Martini Bar in the Savoy Night Club, meeting friends before dinner at Rendez-Vous Square, or enjoying a leisurely brunch in the sunny Oasis Cafe, there's plenty of after-dinner fun to go around, including Broadway-style entertainment in the Celebrity Theater, a martini bar, nightclub, champagne and caviar bar, and a Monte Carlo-style casino.
