  • The Palazzo Reale
Naples' Palazzo Reale is the most prominent example of Baroque architecture in the city, designed by Domenico Fontana in the 17th century. The eight statues on the facade are of Neapolitan kings.
  • Argenti
Argenti is a thematic exhibition dedicated to the silverworks belonging to San Gennaro, held at the Saint's museum in Naples, enriching the museum's current collection of gifts donated to the Saint throughout the centuries.
  • Teatro San Carlo
Teatro San Carlo, the oldest working theatre in Europe, attracts orchestras, performers and troupes from all over the world. The theatre was built in 1737 and, barring the reconstruction and a two-year economic crisis from 1872 to 1874, has not interrupted its seasons once in almost three centuries since then.
  • Virgil's Tomb
Visitors can pay homage to one of the greatest luminaries of Western literature at the tomb of Virgil in the Parco Virgiliano. The tomb from which the park derives its name is said to be the final resting place of the body of Virgil, composer of the Aeneid, the Roman empire's "national poet" and undisputed master of the metric arts.
  • The Capodimonte National Museum of Art
The Capodimonte National Museum of Art hosts one of Italy's most significant art collections. Displays from different historical periods include the Farnese and Bourbon collections (named after their patron families), as well as the loosely-named post-unification collection, consisting of works acquired since the unification of Italy in the 19th century.
