What you said
The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was enormous, although was in a sorry state of repair. There were holes in the wall and the carpet in front of the window had severe mildew from a leak at some point in time. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast that was included was superb. The area of the hotel was close to the bus station, but it wasn't a very safe part of town.

This hotel was not up to standard. especially the room we were given. The curtains were covered in a one inch layer of dust which had not been cleaned for many months. The room was very small and there was no bath. On asking to change rooms we were told that the hotel was full and that there was no alternative room available. The reception staff were less than helpful and seemed not to be proficient in understanding English which was clearly not their first language. All in all not a good experience. A hotel to be avoided.

This hotel is in a pretty good location, only 10 minutes walk to temple bar. The only downside to this hotel was that there seemed to be about 10 flights of stairs to walk up to get to our room, not good when you have been drinking all day! Rooms were OK and the breakfast was nice. A basic hotel but quality for the price we paid.Would stay there again!

The hotel is very basic but for the price it is ok. The location is very central and within walking distance of most of the main city centre attractions.

The hotel woudl be better described as a boarding house. it was certainly not 3 star and this spoilt my reunion with my friends for our 40th birthday celebrations. Even teh taxi driver didn't know where it was

Browns hotel was a disgrace - the first room we were put in was disgusting - ripped lamp shades covered in brown stains, peeling wallpaper, a tiny bathroom, shower covered in black mould, shower that at best trickled, a sink that you could't get your hands into because of its design, overlooked by building works which commenced at 7.30 am on the Friday, a non existant concierge which meant that people were banging/ringing the door to get in in the early hours ...... that was just the first night! Following a request to change rooms we were put into a room overlooking the front of the hotel, in which the sash window did not shut properly (hence noise and cold) and the radiator did not work properly. All round a big dissappoinment.
