What you said
Our first trip to Dublin and we found the hotel very easy to get to from the airport and very central so we were able to discover Dublin onfoot from the hotel. We were fascinated by all the Thin Lizzie T-shirts on display at breakfast on the first morning - we were unaware there was a annual Thin Lizzie convention - 21 years since Phil Lynott died. Made for a very entertaining breakfast. The restaurant staff were brilliant and so efficient, they worked so well as a team it was good to experience their rapport and working together.

I was really disappointed with this hotel. The bed covers were so old and dirty we had to ask for replacements (a first), the bedroom view was a main line train track and the breakfast area was unorganised.

Our anniversary visit to Dublin. Taxi dropped at Hotel and in Temple bar pub within 15 mins. Pint of Guinness Perfect! We had a cheery welcome at the Hotel and our room was just right, clean, spacious and we hardly noticed the train from the adjacent track. Breakfast staff were slightly miserable and the breakfast room a little dull but we were up and out to join the friendly people of Dublin.

Good central hotel at a very reasonable rate. Room and bathroom could have done with a make over - smelt musty. Resident's lounge a bit gloomy. Breakfast was excellent as was the restaurant where we dined one night of our staff. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Good location and food excellent. service in restaurant and bar good, reception not so good. The room was clean and a reasonable size but we were in a room that had been used by smokers, would have been nice to have had the choice of a non-smoking room. Overall pretty good value for money though.

Good value for money. Looking a bit tired (hallway carpets etc) but rooms clean and comfortable. No frills, but a good solid hotel. Recommended, and would stay there again.

Hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment. Standard of cleanliness and decor is not 3* as rated on the site. Near main station and tracks! can train spot (even for the sight challenged)from rooms. One for anorak mugs.
