Appealing to the young and lively, Laganas is a non-stop holiday resort, situated to the South of Zante. It boasts the best beach on the island with 5 miles of golden sand. There are over 100 tavernas, snack bars and restaurants ranging from international to local cuisine. And as the sun goes down, Laganas comes alive with pubs, disco bars and nightclubs.

Things to see and do in Laganas

  • Explore more of Zante by boat
  • Take a boat tour of the island to spot the turtles
  • Take a shopping trip to Zakynthos Town
  • Kosova Art Gallery
Founded in 1979 in Pristina, the Kosova Art Gallery regularly organises collective and individual exhibitions of both local talent and international artists. The gallery is also the venue for art workshops, lectures and promotional events aimed at raising the profile of new trends in contempory art.
  • Kino ABC
The 248-seat Kino ABC is currently the only cinema regularly screening films in Pristina. There are four daily shows, which range from American and European productions to documentaries and short films. The complex also hosts book launches, seminars and other cultural activities.
  • Kosovo Museum
Once the headquarters for the Yugoslav National Army, this Austro-Hungarian-inspired structure was bought by the Kosovo Museum in 1963. It has an extensive collection of archaeological and ethnological artefacts, although some of them were moved to Belgrade in 1998 to prevent any damages during the war and the museum is still waiting for their return.
