Almyra is set on the hillside a mere 15-minute walk from Fiscardo harbour. It enjoys fabulous panoramic views across the cypress tree-clad hillside, out to the sea, and beyond to Ithaca. All 27 rooms and each of the numerous spacious terraces take full advantage of this superb location, and offer some variant of those views. Almyra is a very special place, a welcome addition to our portfolio, and it comes with our highest recommendation. The transfer time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. It is 800m or a 10 minute downhill walk to harbour along unlit road (20 minutes back) and it about a kilometre or a 15 minute walk to Emblisi Beach (along road)

Food and beverages

The Almyra Terrace Restaurant opens 3 evenings per week (including a special themed barbeque evening) and it serves excellent Cephalonian fare.

For the remainder of each week guests may select from the extensive choice of restaurants in Fiscardo Harbour and the surrounding villages. Guests can take advantage of a 10% reduction at ‘Tassia’s – Fiscardo’s best-reputed restaurant.
