Corfu Town is built between two Venetian castles, having its own unique atmosphere. It is a thriving mass of shops and businesses, set amongst a captivating and charming assortment of elegant buildings, churches, imposing fortresses and narrow alleyways leading to hidden squares.One of the most beautiful walks in the town is around the Esplanade (Spianada square), one of the biggest squares in Europe which is the hub of the Corfiot's life. Here you can walk around or sit in one of the many cafe bars underneath the arches of the 'Liston', a name probably derived from a similar promenade in Venice.In the resort of St George you can find a combination of quiet and relaxation with busy nightlife withinin walking distance. The beach is well organized and considered to be one of the best in Corfu – awarded with a blue flag award. This resort is perfect for families; young people as well as senior citizens. Offering everything it will definitely not disappoint you. Transfer time from airport is 45 minutes.

Accommodation description

This property is in a fine location to enable you to fully enjoy the friendly resort of St. George. There is a selection of taverns, shops, restaurants and bars within 5-7 minutes walk (don’t forget to pack a torch as the road that leads to your accommodation is not lit up at night). Although only around 10 minutes walk to the extensive sandy beach, the Lord Complex boasts its own swimming pool making it even more attractive for families with children. The accommodation is fairly basic but the family that runs the complex is very friendly and many guests have become regular visitors.
