The Museum of Greek Folk Art features an extensive collection highlighting the origins of modern popular Greek culture.

The exhibits include embroidery from all over the country, formal wear, folk theatre artefacts, gold and silverware, photographs and traditional objects, arms, tools and traditional costumes from around Greece.

The museum also organises educational programmes and a series of seasonal events to revive traditional customs, and is home to a large archive and library.
