Darmstadt Attractions

The Ebbelwei Express is a historic tram that chugs past Frankfurt's famous attractions and invites passengers to drink the national Ebbelwei (Apple wine) and eat a dry Brezel. The old painted tram belongs as much to the image of the city as the Römer or the Cathedral and provides a sightseeing tour unlike any other.

The full journey takes about an hour, but visitors can board the tram at any of the regular stops. The experience is completed by local music. Look out of the window while nibbling on your Brezel and watch the Römer, Zoo, Hauptbahnhof and the river Main passing by without the necessity to move.
