Nice's Parc Phoenix is a botanist's paradise. It contains one of the largest greenhouse in the world, numerous rare plant species, a lake and a selection of gardens, ranging from Louisiana-style to the Austral Africa Garden. More than 2500 plant species, some rare, grow here, protected by the Mediterranean setting.

The tropical glasshouse, 7000 square metres and 25 metres high, is one of the biggest in the world. It presents the visitor with seven different tropical climates, from a forest of tree ferns to a vast collection of rare orchids, thanks to state-of-the-art technology.

A Butterfly Jungle, the Louisiana garden, the Thai garden and the Austral African Garden show the richness and variety of nature. The Aztec pyramids, dedicated to the subterranean world of plants, round off this presentation of the world's variety.

The park also offers seasonal exhibitions and activities for children, ensuring that all age groups are catered for.
