Sitting in the beautiful Belleville valley on route to Val Thorens, St Martin de Belleville forms part of the legendary, large Three Valleys region. As such, it is included in the world's largest ski domain with easy access to seemingly limitless skiing. The old village boasts a wonderful and unspoilt charm, complete with traditional French architecture and typically quaint Gallic bars and cafes. This is why the village is believed to be the true jewel in the crown of this much sought after region. A couple of lively night spots provide buzzing après ski will keep you occupied into the early hours, and a number of non-ski activities are also available.
Every level of skier is catered for here, and there is a truly vast choice of runs across the many areas of the valleys. From wide open intermediate cruising, to thrillingly steep downhill runs and knee-burning bumps, to gentle nursery stretches - everyone can happily ski and board to their heart's content. It's hard to cover all of the possibilities and permutations within a season here, yet alone in a week or two. And to gain the best of all worlds, holidaymakers return year after year to enjoy the small village's access to exceptional pistes and pleasures.
