On the first Friday of every month, 1200 inline skaters gather in the place de la Liberté in Toulon's centre, then promenade through the city's streets and the surrounding area.
The 15-kilometre circuit explores the unique (and conveniently flat) city, from the heart of the Old Town to Pont du Las, the place d'Armes to the port. As in similar events in other cities, skaters should have achieved an intermediate skill level. Protective clothing is also a must.
Free concerts and shows complement the programme, while refreshments are on hand to quench skaters' thirst.
