Driving Directions
The airport is located just off the A8 from the centre of Edinburgh. The well-signed airport access road turns north off the A8 between the Gogar and Newbridge roundabouts.
Car Parking
The short-term car park is directly in front of the terminal building. Construction of a new multi-storey car par, with 2,000 new spaces is underway; Car Park 3, on Almond Road, with 400 short-stay spaces provides additional short-stay car parking for the duration of construction. The long-term car park is close by, served by a free courtesy coach to the terminal. Discounts are available for pre-booked long-term parking (tel: (0)870 000 1000), which can also be done online via the airport’s website. Car Hire
Alamo, Avis, Europcar, Hertz and National, all have desks located in the Domestic Arrivals hall. Pre-booked cars from some off-airport companies can be contacted on the courtesy telephone located between Domestic Arrivals and check in.
Public Transport

The express service (bus no.100) operates daily 24 hours. Bus no.35 operates from Ocean Terminal via the city centre to Edinburgh Airport. Airport Facilities
Money and communications: The airport has bureaux de change, ATMs and a post office. Eating and drinking: Coffee shops are available throughout the airport and there are two bars and a food village. Luggage: A left-luggage facility and a lost property desk (tel: (0)131 344 3486) are available. Other facilities: These include baby care facilities and a prayer/quiet room.
Conference and Business Facilities
Bmi, British Airways, Scotways and Servisair have executive lounges equipped with telephone, fax and Internet facilities. The Hilton Edinburgh Airport Hotel (tel: (0)131 519 4400) has conference facilities for up to 220 delegates.
Disabled Facilities
Facilities for disabled people include accessible toilets, ramps, lifts and reserved seating. There is a TDD telephone in the International Arrivals area and the airport telephone switchboard is equipped with a Minicom system (tel: (0)131 344 3100). Induction loops are fitted at various points throughout the terminal. Passengers should advise their airline of their special needs in advance. Reserved parking and wheelchair push and provision and help with baggage are available. Assistance can also be pre-booked (tel: (0)131 344 3486).

Car Parking
There are over 6,000 parking spaces in nine parking lots, including covered and outdoor car parks. Covered parking is available close to the terminal in P6; short-term parking is available in P8 and P9; nearby car parks include P10 and P5, for medium-term stays; and long-term parking is available in P1 and P2, close to the terminals, and P3 and P7, as well as a separate facility, Chèques Parking. Reception staff can advise on airport facilities, the times of flight arrivals and departures and connecting flights. Money and communications: There is a bank and several ATMs, as well as Internet points, wireless Internet access, a post office, fax and Minitel. Eating and drinking: Cafés and restaurants are located throughout the airport. Shopping: Shops include a duty-free shop in the International Terminal, as well as shops in both terminals selling a variety of goods, including regional produce, jewellery and luggage accessories. There is a newsagents too. Luggage: A left-luggage facility is available in the International Terminal; luggage shipping and delivery can also be arranged here (tel: (0)4 4214 3175). A lost and found office is situated in the Domestic Terminal (tel: (0)4 4214 2410). Other facilities: There is a pharmacy and first aid services in the International Terminal.
Conference and Business Facilities
The airport Business Centre (tel: (0)4 4214 2774 or (0)4 4214 2778) is in Hall 4 on the first floor and has private offices, meeting rooms and lounges available for hire. Up to 250 people can be accommodated in the Panoramique Lounge in the International Terminal. Facilities available include telephones, fax, Minitel, Internet and audiovisual equipment, while services include welcome desks, personal porters, catering and a limousine service.
Disabled Facilities
The airport is accessible for disabled passengers. Facilities for the disabled traveller can be provided on request by the airlines or by Midi Provence (tel: (0)4 4214 2742).
