My second trip to paris and second 2* hotel that i have stayed in. The hotel is very near to Gare de Nord Station so if you want to be able to arrive dump your stuff somewhere and then head out again it is perfect. Not really a picturesque or pretty area but its not bad and it didnt feel unsafe at all. There is a metro station very near by and it takes you straight to all the attractions and the Le Opentour bus stops at Gare De Nord so thats convenient if you going on that open bus tour. The rooms are not luxury but hey its a 2* and its clean with ensuit bathroom which is perfect if you really just want a place to crash after a long day of sightseeing. I would stay there again.

the receptionist delights in telling guests that their reservation is for the wrong day. Apart from this , it is fine. Well located and convenient.

there wasnt enough mirrors in the room!! there was only one in the bathroom and was too far from a working plug socket!

Hotel was perfectly located for getting around Paris on the metro. Only gripe is that I thought breakfast was included so alittle shocked when we were charged 7 euros 50 each for breakfast, which was a bit expensive
