This hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing at The Louvre and Notre Dam and is in easy walking distance of the Metro (approx 5mins). The rooms were kept very clean with fresh towels on a daily basis. There were a few downsides to the hotel, it was located on a busy main road and you could hear the traffic in the rooms throughout the night. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were appalling and I ended up buying tea and milk from local supermarket also the breakfast facilities were expensive 11 euros for yoghurt and cereal. There was a Starbucks down the road that did nice croissants.

The hotel was excellent and in a really central location - just 50m from the nearest underground station.The rooms were excellent with fresh linen and towels each day and the staff were marvellpus.Really made our first trip to Paris memorable and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Westayed here because of the location. We walked everywhere. The hotel is very small. Room reserved was meantto be a superior room. It was a cupboard.The standard roomwas bigger!Staff at the hotel were disinterested. They might as well not have been there.I would not stay at this hotel again. There was a brothel over the roaddoing a roaring trade on Sunday as we left.

The hotel is in a good position for sightseeing, some attractions being only walking distance. It is also very close to a metro station making travel to and from anywhere in Paris very easy. There are very adequate restaurants and shops close by.

The hotel is superbly located in an "interesting" area and convenient for the metro. Many of the principal sights are within comfortable walking distance and there are plenty of local shops, restaurants and bars to choose from. The staff were extremely helpful and I would have no hesitation in booking here when I next visit Paris.

Perfect location to visit Paris, very clean.Staff didn't realise, having an argument in french in back kitchen might not have been first thing to enjoy for breakfast by customers.

The Hotel was great. Some of the rooms are a bit small, but we had the time of our life there. The hotel staff are also fabulous.

The hotel was ideally located. The room was huge, warm and comfortable with good beds and lighting. The bathroom was spacious and modern .We would certainly use the hotel again.

The hotel was friendly but breakfast if you wanted it was a bit pricy!The hotel was clean and the room although a bit small was ideal for a few nights stay.The hotel was well placed for easy access to all the main tourist sites. The Seine was a 15-20 minute walk and located just off the main road were plenty of bars and cafes etc.Overall a good hotel to stay in for a few nights while sight seeing Paris.

A very nice hotel, clean, friendly staff and very close to a wonderfull coffee and corner shop! A bit of a walk to the metro, but from there it becomes very easy to travel anywhere in the city. Situated just off Av Louisa - great for shopping and, of course, a 'quick' resturaunt.

Being a fussy traveller (i travel a lot for both business & pleasure) i was very impresse with teh cleanliness of this hotel. The staff were friendly and teh location was excellent; 5 minutes walk from the metro and bout 15-20 minutes walk to the main tourist route (Rue de Rivoli) and if you vary your route you go past some excellent shopping areas (food and fashion)which would otherwise be missed if you took the metro.

The location was excellent and the staffwere pretty helpful (though would only speak English if you got into a mess with French - which I did on one occasion). The accomodation was adequate only and rather like a travel lodge. The rooms were fine but the reception and small breakfast room were unimpressive (the former positively tacky!): decoration of common parts wasn't great.

Hotel France Europe Marais was fantastic value for money. Its location to the Metro was fantastic and its proximity to all of the tourist attractions was ideal. The comfort and cleanliness were commendable and the service was friendly and helpful. I would definitley recommend this hotel to other travellers.
