This traditional morning market takes place in the central squares of Arras, the Grand'Place and adjoining Place des Héros. This is where the locals come to get their farm churned butter, unpasteurised cheeses (including the local Maroilles) spit-roasted chickens, fresh vegetables, oysters and freshly caught fish. Although the market takes place on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings, it's biggest on Saturday.
