One of Bordeaux's main clubbing venues, Le 4 Sans is a cavernous club which regularly attracts big names to entertain a mixed crowd of townies and students.

Trevor Rockcliffe and Laurent Garnier are among the DJs who have raised the roof in this predominantly house and techno-loving venue. Regular nights include Saturday's feast of techno, with residents Stamba, Finzy, Cliff Barnes (wasn't he in Dallas?) plus guests. Fridays are often also devoted to techno, although occasional visits from foreign guests move the vibe in more of a house, or trance, direction.
