The two terminals (A and B) are connected by a covered walkway.
The airport can be accessed from junctions 11a or 11b off the ring road surrounding Bordeaux.
The airport has four car parks, P0, P1, P2 and PR. It also has a car park reserved for car-hire pick-up and drop-off. Car park P0 is patrolled and is nearest the terminal. PR is a short-term car park close to the terminal, with free parking for the first 30 minutes. P1 and P2 are public car parks; P2 is a long-term car park. There are seven car hire companies at the airport: ADA, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National/Citer and Sixt.
Road: Taxi: Over 50 taxis are always available at the airport. Bus: The airport can also be reached via shuttle bus. Jet’Bus operates a service from Bordeaux city centre to the airport (journey time: 40 minutes). Further information is available via the airport's information desks.
Information desks (tel: (0)5 5634 5050) are located in both Terminals A and B, on the Arrivals level.
Money and communications: There is a bank on the Departures level of Terminal A and a bureau de change on the Departure level. ATMs are located in Terminal B. There is a post office on the Departures level of Terminal A. Eating and drinking: The airport also has a number of bars and restaurants in both terminals. Shopping: Shops can be found in both terminals, and include newsagents, a gift shop and a perfumery. There is also a duty-free shop in the International Departure area of Terminal A. Luggage: A lost property service is located on the Departures level of Terminal B (tel: (0)5 5634 5011); for items left on board planes, passengers should contact their airline. Other facilities: Child care equipment can be reserved in advanced (tel: (0)5 5692 9784) and picked up at the information desk in Terminal B.
Conference rooms and meeting rooms are available in all major hotels close to the airport. There are photocopying facilities and a fax machine in the Departures area of Terminal A.
Wheelchairs are available from individual airlines, which must be informed prior to travel. Lifts and disabled toilets are located throughout the airport, and there are spaces reserved for disabled drivers in all car parks.
