The airport is situated next to junction 8 of the M11 motorway, less than 20 minutes away from junction 27 of the M25 motorway and is easily accessible from London.
Car Parking
There are short-, mid- and long-term car parks, with short-term parking located very close to the terminal building. Pre-booking is available (website: www.eparking.uk.com). Regular coaches transfer passengers from the mid- and long-term car parks to the terminal. For long-term car parking, contact BAA Advance (tel: (0)870 000 1000) to receive a discount or book online via the airport’s website. Parking for motorcycles is free in the designated (D) zone of the long-stay car park.
Car Hire
Companies represented are Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and National. Booking desks are situated between Departures and International Arrivals.
Public Transport
Rail: The train station is located directly below the terminal building. The Stansted Express rail service (tel: (0)845 850 0150; website: www.stanstedexpress.co.uk) runs direct to London Liverpool Street Station, stopping at Tottenham Hale for connections to the West End. Central Trains (tel: (0)121 634 2040; website: www.centraltrains.co.uk) operates a daily service to Birmingham. For national train times and fares, call National Rail (tel: (0)845 748 4950; website: www.nationalrail.co.uk). Road: Taxi: Airport Carz (tel: (0)1279 662 444) operates services to central London. Coach: There are National Express coach services to London Victoria (A6), London Liverpool Street and London Victoria (A7) and Stratford (A9). The Terravision Express Shuttle (tel: (0)1279 662 931) provides a non-stop service to London Victoria. Other services are available. The coach station is located in front of the terminal forecourt. Information and Help Desks
Information on parking, transportation, shopping and flights is available (tel: (0)870 000 0303). An information desk is located in the International Arrivals area. Courtesy telephones are situated around the terminal, with a direct link to the information desk.
Airport Facilities
Money and communications: ATMs, bureaux de change and an Internet exchange with wireless Internet are available. Eating and drinking: There are various restaurants, cafés and bars, including a 24-hour coffee bar. Shopping: There are numerous shops throughout the terminal, as well as duty-free outlets. Conference and Business Facilities

Disabled Facilities
There are wheelchair-accessible toilets throughout the airport, hearing loops and TDD telephones. All telephones are fitted with induction couplers. Reserved seating and parking are provided; courtesy transfer shuttles are wheelchair-accessible. Ramps, lifts and elevators link all levels of the terminal building, including the station. Passengers requiring wheelchair and assistance boarding the aircraft should contact their airline prior to travel. All trains serving London Stansted Airport are equipped with facilities for disabled passengers; many coaches are not and passengers should check with the individual service providers. The brand new Radisson SAS hotel has 500 rooms and is just two minutes via a covered walkway from the terminal building. From Prague city centre, follow airport signs towards Kladno or Slan.
Car Parking
Car parking facilities include both short- and long-term parking, located in front of the North Terminal, a multi-storey car park and parking for coaches. There is also short- and long-term parking at the South Terminal.
Car Hire
Alimex CR, Alamo (National), Avis, Budget, CS-Czechocar, Dvorak, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt are all represented, with counters on the ground floor of car park C.
Public Transport
Road: Taxi: Registered taxis operated by FIX (tel: (0)2 2056 1788) are available in front of the Arrivals hall. Minibus: Minibuses operated by CEDAZ (tel: (0)2 2491 9240) serve the airport. Minibus stands are located in front of the Arrivals hall. Both companies have information desks in the Arrivals hall. Bus: Bus no.119 and bus no.254 run from the airport to Dejvická, the nearest metro station. Two night bus services operate after hours. Services are operated by DP Praha (tel: (0)2 2011 5404; website: www.dp-praha.cz), which has an information desk in the Arrivals hall.

Airport Facilities
Money and communications: There are bureaux de change and ATMs in the North Terminal, and a 24-hour bureau de change in the transit section. There is one bank and a post office in the administration building opposite the Arrivals area. Full postal services are available from Post 68. Eating and drinking: There is a restaurant complex situated on the first floor of the North Terminal, and a restaurant in the South Terminal 2. Shopping: Duty-free shopping is available in the transit area of the North Terminal. There is also duty-free shopping in the South Terminal 2. Luggage: Lost property offices are located in the customs Arrival hall. Additional lost property and left-luggage offices are located in the Arrivals area of the North Terminal. An oversized baggage shipping service and a baggage wrapping service are available. Other facilities: A 24-hour health and sanitary service is provided.
Conference and Business Facilities
A conference room (seating 12) and a press room (seating 35) are available at the VIP facilities in the North Terminal. A Representative Lounge is available, equipped with fax, photocopying, a data-projector and free Internet. Fixed and mobile congress counters can be hired through the VIP Service (tel: (0)2 2056 2525 or (0)2 2011 3491). The Bohemia Lounge is situated on Pier B of the North Terminal, with Internet, fax and photocopying services. Lounges and two conference rooms (accommodating 14 and 25 delegates) are available for hire in the South Terminal.
Disabled Facilities
The airport is accessible to disabled passengers and assistance can be requested in advance (tel: (0)2 2011 6076/7). Passengers should also inform their airline of their requirements prior to travel. Parking is free for disabled passengers upon presentation of a valid disabled badge; reserved spaces are available in the multi-storey car park.
