Walk or ride round the Ringstrasse Boulevard, which encircles the old town to see the grand 19th century buildings including the opera, parliament, fine arts museum, town hall and Burgtheater. Medieval streets and squares provide a classic winter setting. At every corner you will discover another palace, church, statue or beautiful town house.
