Soll Holidays

Nestled in the Austrian Tyrol, Soll is an attractive resort with a pretty pedestrianised village centre. It lies close to the German border at only 70km from Innsbruck. The resort is understandably a firm favourite with us Brits – largely as it's a lively, good value town with jumping apres-ski. This has drawn increasing number of Dutch to ski and party too.

The resort is the central hub of the Ski Welt, one of Austria’s largest networks of interconnected pistes. This region counts 93 lifts and 250km of runs spread around an oval of nine resorts. Two further resorts, Kelchsau and Westendorf, are also included on the lift pass, but are connected by bus only. Soll is particularly popular for its relaxed and easy cruising on rolling Tyrolean pastures. All this is set against the stunning scenery of the enchanting 'Wilder Kaiser' mountains. Snow-making is ensured by 18 snow cannons, ensuring good cover throughout the season.
