Mayrhofen is one of the most popular resorts in the Tyrol with British visitors and offers a huge range of things to do and see. As you drive through the Ziller Valley where green pastures meet steep wooded slopes framed by distant snow-capped mountains, you can see how the beauty of this area has captured the hearts of its many regular visitors. A gondola up to the Penken and cable car to the Ahorn give access to the beautiful surrounding area where mountain restaurants offer local specialities for a lunchtime treat. There is an indoor/outdoor swimming pool complex plus minigolf, tennis, horseriding as well as an excellent choice of excursions. Evening entertainment is great fun with plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes to enjoy. Transfer time from Salzburg 150kms – 3 hours (approximately) and from Innsbruck 75kms – 1hour 30mins (approximately).

Your holiday price includes: Flights, local transfers to/from Salzburg or Innsbruck and accommodation for 7 nights on a bed & breakfast basis PLUS free walking guide book (see below).

Accommodation description

Guests will be accommodated in traditional Tyrolean houses within 10 minutes walk of the village centre. All rooms will have private facilities and the price includes breakfast. If you book the half board option, a three course dinner will be served in a nearby hotel or restaurant.

Free Walking Guidebook included

Ticketing information: Tickets will be sent out by the operator approx. 3 weeks prior to departure. The operator will send you their paper confirmation within 72 hours of your making your booking. The operator will only telephone you if you are travelling within the next 10 days to arrange ticket on depature.
