St. Johann is a picturesque market town in the Tyrol where many of the houses are noted for the beautiful painted frescoes on their walls. The resort is placed close to Kitzbuhel and midway between Innsbruck and Salzburg, which makes it ideal for excursions.

There are over 60 miles of marked trails in the surrounding countryside, which is excellent for walkers of all grades. St. Johann has a pleasant, homely atmosphere and there are plenty of shops for browsing and many local cafes and taverns.

Transfer time: From Salzburg 80kms - 1.5 hours (approx.). From Innsbruck 90kms - 2 hours (approx.)

Accommodation description

Guests will be accommodated in traditional Tyrolean houses within 10 minutes walk of the village centre. All rooms will have private facilities and the price includes breakfast. If you take the half board option dinner will be served in a nearby hotel or restaurant.

Free Excursion included

• This package includes a Free Excursion to Lake Achensee (for Saturday arrivals)and to the Krimml waterfalls (for Wednesday arrivals).

Free Walking Guidebook included

• This guidebook will be issued to you when you arrive in St. Johann. It covers walking trails in the Kitzbuhler Alps and Wild Emperor mountains.

Ticketing information: Tickets will be sent out by the operator approx. 3 weeks prior to departure. The operator will send you their paper confirmation within 72 hours of your making your booking. The operator will only telephone you if you are travelling within the next 10 days to arrange ticket on depature.
