Niederau

Niederau is attractive to friends and families with skiers of varying standards. With their historic and picturesque farmhouses, these traditional villages nestle in one of Tyrol’s loveliest valleys, the wild and beautiful Wildschönau. Niederau is the first and largest resort in the valley. With long, interesting runs through attractive terrain, the main skiing takes place in Niederau via the Makbachjoch gondola or the Lanerköpfl. Après ski and evening entertainment is lively and varied with something to suit all tastes, whether it is a fondue evening, moonlight sleigh ride or dancing at one of the local nightspots or bars.

Directly opposite Niederau’s ski arena with skiing back to the doorstep, the traditional Harfenwirt is only 5 minutes stroll from the centre with a free ski bus stop outside, serving the valley. Owner Herbert Thaler, who plays the harp and Gill who is English, present a pleasant, informal atmosphere.

• Baggage allowance: 20kgs (15kgs on Tyrolean flights)
• Carriage of skis: Ski carriage (on charter flights) must be pre-booked and there is a charge of £15 per pair return. If for any reason your skis cannot be carried, the tour operator undertakes to transport your skis on the next available flight and deliver them to your accommodation. Book ski carriage under Optional extras at the end of your online booking.
• Special requests: If you have any special requests (vegetarian meals etc.) please enter them under "special requirements" when making your online booking. Special requests will be noted but cannot be guaranteed.

Ticketing information

• The tour operator will send you their confirmation/invoice by post the next working day after your booking is received. The operator will not telephone you unless you are travelling within the next 10 days.
• Tickets will be dispatched 14 days before departure.
• Bookings accepted subject to the operator's usual terms and conditions which are available upon request.
