The charming glacier village of Kaprun, situated in the Europa Ski region, is a year-round resort full of delightful choices. Aside of being an undeniably pretty alpine village, it has guaranteed access to snow all season long. Like its neighbour, Zell am See, Kaprun lies on a host of summer pursuits too, such as golf, climbing and water sports. The resort has a great selection of upmarket restaurants and lively bars, and the attractions of Zell am See are easily enjoyed at night. By day, non-skiers happily amuse themselves with sleigh rides, skating, horse riding and bowling.

The action on the slopes is ideal for beginners, intermediates and cross-country skiers. When combined with sister resort Zell am See on a "Europa Sport' lift pass, skiers and boarders can cruise up to 130km of pistes, 50km in Kaprun itself. At the very top of the resort, the Kitzsteinhorn glacier offers a great range of runs, as well as breath-taking views down the valley. Zell am See's separate Schmittenhöhe Mountain offers some excellent terrain for the advanced skier and a full-on snow park for boarders.
