Border Town Pas de la Casa is entry point to Andorra from France and also the largest ski resort in the principality. Purpose-built in a horse-shoe shape around the main ski lifts, it is the best resort of all for reaching the slopes with high-speed access to the start of the Grandvalira ski zone. One lift pass covers the whole area. With low-cost accommodation and bargain restaurants it is fine for families. But above all, “Pas”, as it is known, is ideal for the young. Skiers and boarders throng to bars like The Milwaukee and The Underground to revel in its night life.

Accommodation description

The recently built 4* aparthotel Alaska offers excellent quality self catering accommodation in the heart of lively Pas de la Casa. A stones throw from the slopes and the après ski, these apartments are ideal for those who want to be in the centre of the action. All apartments come equipped with satellite TV, safety deposit box, telephone, kitchenette with microwave, two electric hotplates and fridge. The studios have a double bed and or single pull out sofabeds, while the apartments have separate double bedroom and a lounge area with a double sofa bed or single pull out sofa bed.

• Pas de la Casa does not permit coaches driving in the town. Transfer coaches therefore drop off and collect passengers from a central point. All accommodation is within walking distance.
