Arinsal Hotels

Arinsal is one of the few resorts in the duty-free principality of Andorra, set high in the Pyrenees between France and Spain. It is a budget-priced resort, with all the benefits of an excellent snow record, long sunny days and full-on apres-ski. Although small in size, this resort is definitely big in personality. And it also connects with the lovely tree-lined runs of neighbouring resort Pal.

All but the most advanced of skiers will find runs to suit them here, although the quantity of piste is relatively limited. The mountains are particularly suited to beginners and intermediates. Combine this with an excellent ski school and you have one of the best places to strap on panks in the early stages of skiing. After the lifts stop, the resort undeniably rocks, fuelled by the attractive prices of tax-free alcohol and the many buzzing clubs and bars.
