Home to Dunns River Falls, Ocho Rios is a purpose-built holiday resort with a white sandy beach. The falls offer an exhilarating climb to the top with the fresh water cascading all around you. It was formerly a fishing port and was also known for its banana exports. Now it is a pretty resort town with stunning waterfalls and beaches and interesting colonial-period buildings like the Geddes Memorial Church and the Anglican Church. There is a local craft market, a whole host of shops and a wide choice of international restaurants.
