The hotel was built in 1887, and in 2004 underwent extensive renovations to become the luxurious beauty that now stands. There are still some rennovations to the hotel. Updated details as below...but you'll find that the powder soft beach at The Crane has been voted one of the top ten best beaches in the world recently by a leading lifestyle magazine, so it's still well worth the visit. Just 10 minutes from the airport, and with just 98 rooms, the hotel is a break from the 'norm' and due to it’s secluded location it’s a perfect place to chill and enjoy the naturally beautiful surroundings.

There are some rooms suitable for disabled clients, however, due to steps down to the beach, The Crane is not very suitable for those with walking difficulties
