The terminals are connected via a covered walkway.
The airport is located just north of the M8 motorway at junction 28.
Short-stay, long-stay and business parking are all available, operated by NCP (tel: (0)870 606 7050; website: www.ncp.co.uk). The short-stay car parks are all within walking distance of the terminals, and there are regular transfer coaches to the terminal from the long-stay car park. Long-stay parking with discounts can be pre-booked through BAA Advance (tel: (0)870 000 1000) or online via the airport’s website.
Alamo, Avis, Europcar, Hertz and National have desks next to Domestic Arrivals .
Rail: The Gilmour Street railway station in Paisley is 3km (2 miles) from the airport and is only a few minutes away by taxi or local bus. Trains run to Glasgow Central rail station. Transfers to either Queen Street station or Buchanan bus station are available on bus no.398. Bus: Bus no.905 runs to central Glasgow, stopping at Glasgow Central station, Queen Street station and Buchanan bus station. Buses are also available to other destinations. The airport information desk is on the first floor, next to the Domestic Arrivals/Departures area. There are computer information kiosks on the ground floor and a Greater Glasgow and Clyde Valley Tourist Board (tel: (0)141 848 4400 or 4758) in International Arrivals, providing tourist and accommodation information.
Money and communications: The airport has bureaux de change, ATMs, a post office and telephones equipped with fax and e-mail facilities. Eating and drinking: Restaurants, cafés and bars are concentrated on the first floor. Shopping: Shopping includes duty-free. A lost property service (tel: (0)141 848 4740) is also available. Uniformed members of staff are on hand to assist with baggage. A business workstation with telephone, fax and Internet facilities is available on the first floor concourse. The Glasgow Airport Business Centre (tel: (0)141 847 5450) offers meeting rooms, conference and training facilities, an IT suite and full secretarial support. There is a Servisair Executive Lounge, with credit-card operated telephones and fax facilities. Conference facilities for up to 35 delegates are available at the Travel Inn (tel: (0)141 842 1563).
Facilities include wheelchair-accessible toilets, ramps, lifts and reserved seating, as well as induction loops, a TDD telephone and a Minicom information line (tel: (0)141 848 4848). Passengers should advise their airline in advance of any special needs. Disabled parking spaces are available. Passengers requiring assistance from the car park to the terminals should arrange this in advance by contacting Passenger Assistance Limited (tel: (0)141 848 4938). The inter-terminal shuttle connects the Domestic and International terminals and is operated by Airtrain (tel: (0)7 3216 3308; website: www.airtrain.com.au ).
The airport is located on Airport Drive and has a dedicated access road off the Gateway Motorway roundabout. From Brisbane, take the Kingsford Smith Drive to the Links Avenue off ramp on to the Gateway Motorway.
Short- and long-term parking (tel: (0)7 3406 3088) is available at both the International and Domestic terminals.
Car hire companies include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Thrifty, with desks in the International and Domestic terminals.
Rail: The Airtrain (tel: (0)7 3216 3308; website: www.airtrain.com.au) provides services to Brisbane Central Station (journey time: 22 minutes) and to the Gold Coast. Airtrain stations are located directly outside the Domestic and International terminals. Road: Taxi: Taxis are readily available; companies include Black & White Cabs (tel: 131 998; website: www.blackandwhitecabs.com.au) and Yellow Cabs (tel: 132 227 or (0)7 3391 5955; website: www.yellowcab.com.au). The taxi ranks are situated at both Qantas and Virgin Blue ends of the Domestic Terminal and outside Arrivals, on the second level of the International Terminal. Limousine: Limousines are also available; contact the Visitors Information Centre (tel: (0)7 3406 3190) for more information. Bus: Airport buses are available from both terminals to Brisbane Transit Centre in Roma Street, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. A door-to-door service is also provided. Other facilities: There is a first aid room, baby change rooms and a non-denominational prayer room in the International Terminal. Showers are available in both terminals.

Various airline lounges are situated in the International Terminal, including a Qantas Club Lounge (tel: (0)7 3307 9212). A Qantas Club Lounge (tel: (0)7 3867 3400) and The Blue Room (tel: (0)7 3114 7122), operated by Virgin Blue, are situated in the Domestic Terminal.
There is ramped and lift access to all floors, wheelchair-accessible toilets, and shops and dining areas designed for disabled people in the International Terminal. Disabled car parking spaces and wheelchair set-downs area available too.
